Why should you purchase? What are the key benefits? Comment Luv provides incentives for readers to leave comments on your blog. They can link their name, website, and their latest blogs to the bottom of their comment. As any blogger knows readers leaving comments on your blog is one of the most important aspects of successful blogging. It provides valuable feedback on your blogs, helps keep you motivated especially if readers are engaged by your material, enables you to interact with your readers, and build relationships with them.
By increasing the number of comments to your blog, it aids increasing traffic to your blog. More comments to your blog means greater popularity in Google’s eyes and this means higher rankings in Google. Indeed, Comment Luv Premium really will increase your search engine rankings in Google. Comment Luv Premium will also increase your number of Twitter followers and Facebook fans. It will also help you block spammers. So there are loads of benefits to be had from this product.
How does it work? What are they key features? Comment Luv Premium is a significant upgrade from its free Comment Luv WordPress plugin. Its offers many valuable features that are neatly packaged into a single product.
- Comment Luv – Adds the commenter’s last blog to end of their comment on your blog if they provide their weblink and it has a feed available.
- Commenters can choose from their previous 10 articles even if they have not registered for your site, by simply giving your blog a +1 on Google, sharing it on Facebook, or tweeting it on Twitter. You can “force” new commenters to perform one of these social sharing acts, making it necessary for them to do this in order to get their comments approved or receive other benefits from commenting.
- Twitter Link – Allows your readers to add their Twitter username alongside their comment. This entices readers to comment as it will encourage other visitors to follow them.
- Keyword Luv – Offering similar features to KeywordLuv plugin. But new and improved. For instance it keeps the name of comment author “clean” by storing the keywords separately to the name in the database.
- GASP Anti-spam – This is highly effective at blocking spam.
- Top CommentLuv Commenters Widget – Use this to show off your top commenters. It also displays links to your top commentators’ latest posts.
- Dofollow Plugin – You can choose to enable dofollow, nofollow, or both on comment links.

I’m getting tempted to upgrade. Feeling left out by having not done so

I highly recommend you do Larry. The best feature for me is actually being able to give back to the people like yourself who take the time to comment on my blog. The backlinks are great and it’s a massive incentive for more comments. I’ve only been using it a short time and have already seen a significant rise in subscribers and comments.

Looks like it has seen some really neat additions in the Premium version. One of the best WordPress plugins around now in my opinion.

Thanks Dragos, I completely agree. I haven’t had the plugin for long but am already seeing a huge increase in not only people subscribing but also people leaving comments.
I can really see huge potential for this little plugin:)

Awesome – Thanks Lilach for this…! I wondered what sort of plugin you were using that gave me the option to show one of my blog posts when I posted comment on your site and now I know – I get it and I luv it!
Unfortunately it seems that the “Comment Luv guy” is going to make me “jump through hoops” – until after I get video three of his “about to be launched product” (that we know is already launched); before I get the chance to buy the thing! Grrrrrr!
“Hello Mr Andy Bailey from Comment Luv; I’m a buyer and I have credit card in hand but you don’t want my money (I know your product is already launched) – so stop playing games! If you don’t strike while the iron is hot and take my money I might change my mind
! Actually on this occasion I probably won’t change my mind because it does look to be a brilliant product
Anyway – Great post Lilach!

Thanks David:) I really do genuinely love Comment Luv – as you saw it’s great to be able to choose which post you can have but the other features that I think are the icing on the cake for me is the fact that people can subscribe so it’s growing my list and also since I’ve installed it people are leaving more comments than they did before.
I’ll try and get in touch with Andy and find out when he’s going to open it again… I’m sure it will be soon.
Thanks for taking the time to comment:)
Twitter: lilachbullock
oh dear sorry David! The first launch I did was just an internal launch to my existing users because they have been waiting so long for it to come out. I did it so I had a chance to properly launch it with a 3 video pre launch which I am doing right now.
Dont worry, the cart opens on 16th November and I’m just putting a massive bonus package together which isnt quite ready yet and I’m going to offer the unlimited license for the same price of the single license. It’s almost ready, not long now

Thanks Andy – only a few more days then:)
Really pleased with how well the launch has gone – it’s not surprising considering how awesome and how much everyone loves the product.
Nice to see you here too:)

Hi Andy – Nice of you to post. Hope you didn’t take my comments to heart, they “wererather tongue in cheek”. As soon as I saw the plugin on another of Lilach’s Blog post I thought awesome product, I need to find out about this,. Then I saw Lilach’s Blog post about Comment Luv which excited me even more. My comments were just me being enthusiast and not intended as a critisism. Before I even get to buy Comment Luv I can’t wait to promote it – I appreciate that it’s only right that your existing list get to have first bite of the cherry. Anyway – Thanks for creating such a brilliant product

David it’s so nice to see your enthusiasm. It’s a clever marketing approach making people wait for it and yet seeing others who bought it first time round using it – makes you want it even more lol I don’t doubt when Andy opens up the doors again you will love the product:)

I was lucky enough to get CommentLuv Premium the last time Andy launched it. This is a great review of the product. Anyone who wants comments on their sites, needs to buy this.
That’s a good point about making it available if you want it earlier by David Downer but Andy is so excited about this so I hope David will buy this, it’s really going to be worth it.

I started out with the free version too Laur. They’ve recently put the price up again and stopped the sale today
I still think it’s worth it though:)

Thank you for all the valuable postings on blogging. Within the little time we have “met”, I am struggling to understand, catch up and update my blog. Every time I see you on Twitter, the smaller I become. Thank you for the valuable guidance, as I begin to grow bigger.
My pleasure, appreciate your comment and delighted you found it useful:) p.s. nice to see you on my blog too:)
Twitter: lilachbullock
This seems like a good product although I am still not sure exactly how it works? You have to +1 and then users get a dop-down menu for the last ten post?
Twitter: userladder
The drop down menu shows the latest 10 blogs that you’ve posted and you can choose which one you want to show at the end of your comment. This is a great way for people who are reading the blog and comments to then click on your link.
Twitter: lilachbullock
Very cool. I provided a link to my blog that is WordPress and has a feed available so why did commentluv not display my recently posted? Do you have to provide the actual feed url?
Twitter: userladder
hmmm that’s very strange if you look at all the other blog comments that people have left you can see that it’s left their last link for them. Did it not give you that option? Feel free to message me at lilach@socialable.co.uk so I can look at it further.
Twitter: lilachbullock
Thank you for this great post. I have the “old” version and was debating whether to buy. x
There is so much to discuss on commentluv plug-ins, much to it’s benefits and as well as what it has to offer to anyone who subscribe on it. They even say that if you this plug-in you will get an easy advantage to promote your link and as well as your articles and best increase web traffic on your site which only mean that you get a lot of money out of it. You get a proper compensation with what you pay and even multiplied your profit.
Thanks Lowela:) I’m a huge fan of comment luv, there are so many benefits. What I love too is that they’re always upgrading their software, they recently added some great spam features too.
I’m always surprised more blogs aren’t using Comment Luv, it’s a huge incentive for people to leave comments on their blogs:)

I’ve been hearing a lot of rave lately about the premium version. I wonder if it’s as good as I’ve heard. Can’t wait to test it out and see.
Thanks Don, trust me you’re love it. I think it’s well worth the fee and it really is a good way to give something back to your readers. I’ve found since I’ve upgraded my comments have increased too… it could be coincidential but I really think it’s down to Comment Luv Premium.
Twitter: lilachbullock
Hi Lilach – I wonder if you would tell us what advantage this plugin has over using Facebook Comments?
I’d be interested to hear your view on this. Plus, perhaps also to compare Intense Debate comment system.
Caroline
Twitter: Graphicdestuts
Hi Caroline. I personally prefer Comment Luv Premium over Facebook comments. By using Comment Luv Premium at the end of my comment it links with the last blog I wrote (with the premium version you can chose the last 10 blog posts). This then brings traffic back to my blog. Everything I do online is to bring traffic back to my blog, not my Facebook Profile.
Comment Luv Premium is really the best incentive you can give your readers to leave a comment. It’s the only commenting system that shows your blog posts and also Twitter accounts. Hands down the best tool for this purpose:)
Twitter: lilachbullock
Lilach – I have another question. I just received an email form you, via aweber. Is this something you have set up yourself or is this part of Comment Luv Pro.
Caroline
Twitter: Graphicdestuts
Thanks Caroline. It depends on whether you opted in to my list or not? This is powered by Aweber. I also have a plugin I use that thanks people for leaving a comment.

Thanks David. CommentLuv has a free version so I recommend you add that plugin to your blog as it’s a great first step to give something back to your readers and really encourages them to comment more.

Lilach,
Your reviews have (1) caused me to bite the bullet and change from blogger to WordPress (2) install Pop Up Domination and now, CommentLuv – you are the best – and though I don’t like all the learning curves, I know they are necessary and you make them as easy as they can be.
Thanks,
